Responsibilities
• Develop and optimize a prototype for a lower limb novel exoskeleton
• Collaborate closely with engineers and other scientists to support product development activities
• Effectively communicate research results through technical presentations and reports
• Contribute to intellectual property filings and regulatory fillings

Qualifications
• Ideal candidates for this position will hold a Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering with a specific expertise in machine design, strain gauges and sensor integration or BS/MS with > 2 years of experience
• Experience in whole body wearable devices/systems and ability to work with different materials and different prototyping techniques (fabric, plastic, metal, 3d printing, etc…)
• Ability to work with limited budget and resources is a plus
• Individuals with strong interpersonal skills and experience working in interdisciplinary teams
• Creativity and problem-solving skills required and ability to work independently and taking initiative
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated abilities to learn new skills and fields, solve challenging scientific and technical problems, think independently, and work collaboratively in teams
