Mechatronic Engineer

A successful robotics startup company with a highly innovative profile has conceptually developed ground-breaking patient moving robot. It is looking forward to show the first robot in action.Its collapsibile, multi-functional will replace the existing stationary overhead lifts in hospitals and in adult day care, like lifting and transferring patients to e.g. to bath rooms, diagnostics, theraphy and rehab. The concept and the business model were developed in collaboration with the clinical staff and patients in the Køge University Hospital, in order to augment the hospitalized patient’s well-being and to optimize hospital resources.

The company is looking for robotics developer with documented skills and hands-on-experiences in designing and integrating medium to large scale robots or automation systems. The ideal candidate has worked in or managed small, enthusiastic, diverse and interdisciplinary R&D project teams. He/She is not afraid of having many balls up in the air. Customer mindset, finishing deadlines and product focus are natural things for the candidate. He/She should be flexible and fast learner and will become part of a dynamic, continuously evolving team. He/She would work in a busy environment and will be able to solve great complex tasks in close collaboration with experienced robot developers from the company. It is required to be well structured persons and willing to work independently, as well as in international open-minded team.

- Degree in a relevant discipline of engineering.
- Great knowledge of CAD design in Autodesk inventor or similar.
- Experience in knowledge integration of electrical & mechanical components / systems into an overall product design.
- Experienced in using C/C++ or Python.
- Writing and keeping documentation up-to-date.
- Knowledge of ROS and in Linux drivers development.
- Knowledge of SCRUM task management.
- Experience with real robot systems (Preferable).

- Regular contract
- 37 working hours
- Starting date of employment:ASAP
